The English Classes Coordinator oversees St Tom’s Hope Saturday morning English Classes during school terms. The classes run at St Thomas' Anglican Church in Burwood, Victoria.

Our students are primarily Chinese-Mandarin speakers. We also have some students from other languages and nationalities. 

We have a small team of dedicated volunteer teachers (mostly drawn from St Thomas' Church). We are committed to building community, a sense of welcome, and hope in communication for our students.

We are looking for:

• A teacher with expertise in adult education and teaching English.

• Someone who loves people, their culture and helping those seeking English as an Additional Language to progress.

The role is remunerated for 8 hours per week for 42 weeks of the year, which may include two teaching hours per week during school terms.
